Fragrance Shopping in Greece and Malta

I jumpstarted the Summer in Greece and Malta. Traveling to Greece has always been a bucket list destination, so when the opportunity came to join 13 friends abroad the Ritz Carlton Yacht Collection and set sail around the Greek Isles for 11 days total, I jumped! From visiting historical sites in Athens, to fabulous sea side lunches in Sifinos, sunset dinners abroad the Evirma, ZARA stops, hot cable car rides to Santorini, hidden gem shopping in Monemvasia, jeep rides along the Crete country side, yoga on the beach with friends in Pylos, dancing the night away to Pitbull's Give me Everything Tonight, lugging our luggage through the streets of Malta in 95degrees (our hotel wasn't accessible by car during certain hours) to toasting to the good life and everything in at a Michelin rated restaurant... Greece owes me nothing and gave me everything

When I travel, I make a point to visit local fragrance destinations. For me, it's about networking with other owners, supporting local business, gathering some inspiration, checking out new brands I may be unfamiliar with and to commemorate my experience with a new scent. This trip was no different. I got the chance to take my friend Brittany to Rosina Perfumery. Located along the Greek Rivera, this family-owned gem carried some familiar and unfamiliar niche brands. Twin sisters, Stella and Katerina were amazing hosts and shared how they started, their connection to fragrance, struggles of being entrepreneurs, and desire to bring artistic perfumery to Greece. We ended our experience with purchases of Midnight Call from the house of Les SÅ“urs de Noe and photos with the owners.

Our second stop was to Malta’s only fragrance destination for niche and luxury fragrances, Scentoniq. Located in a central shopping area, this place was easy to get to and very accommodating. The six of us piled into a van and took the short drive to sniff around. The service was awesome, the selection was wide, and the sample offerings were generous. As for me, I had the pleasure of not only visiting and introducing my friends to a new fragrance destination but assisting them in selecting a new scent that will remind them of our epic summer experience.

Honorable Mention: Niiche Perfumery inside the Phoenicia Hotel in Malta.
